Observation on the Isolated Hypogastic Nerve-Vas Deferens Preparation of Rabbit

Abstract

|
|
Chlorisondamine, procaine and propranolol inhibited the response of an isolated vas deferens of rabbit to hypogastric nerve stimulation and transmural stimulation. The inhibitory potency of these agents on the response to both types of stimulations was not different. In guinea-pig vas deferens preparation these agents inhibited the response to hypogastric nerve stimulation and transmural stimulation, but the inhibitory, effect was more pronounced on the response to hypogastric nerve stimulation.
